Good news from Butiru Elisabeth
Dear Manfred, and Horst prefer.
Yesterday was the official start of school the new school year 2011 and I would like you a little report senden.Die UNEB (Uganda National Examination Board) results for our P.7 Grundschulpruefungen last year were very good again. Our school was in two major newspapers, New Vision and Monitor. The results of the Sekundarschulpruefung (Senior Four) are expected this or next week.
for the secondary school but we have now received support pledged by the government. You pay for 120 children from the vicinity of school fees (Dayschoolfee) for Senior One. Next year will be a new Senior One to and so on. So we x in 4 years, 120 4 children from the environment can absorb without a Tagesschueler.
So the schools break the seams. In elementary school yesterday evening were already full of both dormitories and this morning is still a long line of parents who bring their children to receive.
Our very big problem right now is water. It's bad dry and they predict that this year could somehow expand as a result of the serious flooding rains in 2010 possibly even the dry season until May. That would be a bad thing, because of the Lebensmittel.Letzte night was the well all night and this morning we had the village population to prohibit access to the water.
The fountain is still running, but sparingly. And sees the school population look as if they could go to the 2000th
Erasmus is today at various drilling companies demands, how much it might cost, for up to drill a second well to primary school. So I will then call on the German ambassador. They had us so well funded in 2000 for the Hospital of the well. Maybe we can do something. If not, I would with you, and knock again at Horst.
Otherwise, we are very happy about the increase in pupils and good about the
results.
So much for today, warm greetings Elisabeth
